Cylindrical roller bearing without outer ring for planetary gear of main gearbox
NSK's outer ring-less cylindrical roller bearings have realized a compact design for planetary gear bearings by omitting the outer ring of the bearing. It not only avoids the creep phenomenon that is likely to occur in the outer ring of the planetary gear bearing, but also leaves more design space for the roller. NSK also specially developed a stamped steel cage for the bearing.
